ADMINISTRATION

RABBI Raymond Beyda
Rosh Yeshiva

Rabbi Raymond Beyda is a graduate of Magen David Yeshiva elementary school, Yeshiva of Flatbush High School and Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Political Science. He then attended New Yok University law school. His semicha was attained through study and service with our community’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Baruch Ben Haim a”h. He has published a book on self- improvement titled “One Minute with Yourself”.

His business career doubled with years of teaching Torah to the men and women of or community. His recordings span the globe and created a demand for his live lectures around the country and the world.

His ability to communicate with members of our community allowed him to contribute to the Ahi Ezer Torah center. He then established the Shaare Zion Torah Center which has become the standard for all to emulate.

In 2012 he shifted his talents to educating community children. As Rosh Yeshiva of a boy's yeshiva he grew the school by establishing a girls' division as well as a boy's high school. Rabbi Beyda's success at building community organizations to accommodate our growth continues at Ahi Ezer Yeshiva.

Rabbi Beyda’s vision of fulfillment and success for all our students is one we know he will succeed in making a reality.

Our program is geared towards skill based learning, nurturing core skill development including, social and emotional development where children will develop the emotional competence and ability to form positive relationships at home, school and in the community; cognition and knowledge of the world where children will learn and understand the world around them; approaches to learning; physical development and health and their ability to engage in daily physical activities; and communication, language and pre-literacy where children will understand, create and communicate effectively and expand their verbal and reading readiness skills. What is unique about our program is that we ensure that all children have a rich and varied learning experience that prepares them for success in school and lays the foundation for college and career readiness. We establish strong and effective partnerships & relationships with families. We help children develop a desire to learn and encourage curiosity and creativity through the development of cognitive skills and utilization of mathematical and scientific thinking as well as higher order thinking. Our Interdisciplinary Units of Study uses developmentally appropriate practices, based on child development principles and supports children's natural desire to learn.
